Role Purpose

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Pre-Sales Consultant to join our team in Japan. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on understanding client challenges and crafting

tailored solutions that drive business value with The company solutions. The candidate will play a key role in shaping the customer journey—from initial engagement to solution design—while also collaborating closely with our broader APAC team

Job Metrics

• Consultative Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients by

understanding their business needs and proposing relevant, value-driven solutions.

• Solution Design & Proposal Development: Translate customer requirements into

compelling solution proposals, presentations, and demonstrations that clearly articulate business benefits.

• Proactive Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams across APAC to align

strategy, share insights, and ensure consistent and high-quality customer experience.

• Customer Communication: Lead discussions with clients to explore opportunities,

clarify requirements, and guide them through the decision-making process.

• Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and solutions and

proactively seek opportunities to expand your knowledge and apply new insights to

customer engagements.

• Strategic Input: Support proposal reviews, contribute to deployment strategies, and

provide input on delivery cost estimates to help stakeholders make informed trade-

offs between business goals and technical feasibility.

Solution Expertise

• A strong solution background and

expertise in areas such as telephony,

network infrastructure, cybersecurity,

IT operations, with a strong emphasis

on cloud technology, AI, and ML.

• Familiar with a wide range of

technologies and have a deep

understanding of communication

systems.

Operations

• Drive sales activities from a technical perspective.

• Provide proactive support for the

Japan office operations.

Strategic Execution

• Working with the Head of

Engineering, sales executives, other

pre-sales peers, marketing,

consultants, and professional services

engineers to support and execute on

the strategic plans.

Communication and Collaboration

• Effective communication and collaboration skills

• Being able to communicate technical

concepts to non-technical stakeholders, collaborate with cross-

functional teams, and build positive relationships with internal and

external partners.

Problem-solving and Decision-making

• Be skilled at problem solving and

quick decision-making.

Language Skills

• Strong English skills are essential for

daily communication with APAC sales

and pre-sales teams, as well as product houses outside Japan.

• Responsible for translating presentations from English to

Japanese for local audiences.
